Established in 2011, Gateway International School is affiliated (1930380) to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Greetings of the Season!
On behalf of Gateway International School, Padur (GISP), I extend my warm wishes to all our dear Students, Staff and Parents in the Session 2024-2025.
I feel honoured and privileged to be chosen to serve this renowned institution.
Students are at the heart of all we do at GISP. with the management providing good infrastructure; the teachers always focus on providing enduring education to meet the needs of all students. With continued focus on experiential learning, we imbibe the ethos of ‘learning by doing’. Furthermore, we follow our School Social Responsibility (SSR) in word and spirit.
Our child’s school years are a special time in his/her life. At GISP we thus focus on holistic development, which forms an integral part of our curriculum. During this period children undergo important developmental changes, which are amply recognised at our School. It is also a time when children undergo transition from “learning to read” to “reading to learn”. Our teachers therefore are encouraged to impart learning in a lucid way with illustrations; using apt teaching aids that make the subject matter simpler and easily comprehensible.
The result of being a part of the atmosphere at GISP is that each student is happy, confident and enthusiastically participates in life of the school. Our children thrive in this child-centered environment, which has truly been perfected by our experienced, dedicated and well trained faculty to provide the best academic experience for our students.

What is CBSE?
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is a board which follows universal pattern, is the first choice for parents with transferable jobs. CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools, and most of the schools approved by central government of India, all India Secondary School Examination for Class 10 and all India Senior School Certificate Examination for Class 12. School provides the extra care and remedial classes for special children with special needs.
How many children are there in class?
There are 18 to 20 children per class.

When should I submit an application form?
The duly filled the application form can be submitted in the respective school offices in the month of November. We accept applications at other times if a place is available.
Is there a school uniform?
Yes, we have school uniforms for students from Nursery to Grade 12. There are separate uniforms for daily wear and Physical Education (PE). Uniforms may be bought from the school on specific days of the week. The uniforms are available for a longer period at the school premises.
